Stuck remembering.
Wind twists the willow branches.
I can't hang here today.

Do I give up now?
Soapy wet gargoyles bite down.
Just another dawn.

Scarred up pretending.
Thoughts flood with brick water.
I can't sink like them.

There's a dream of life.
We don't get to live in it.
It slips while we bawl.
